Gamification of design thinking: a way to enhance effectiveness of learning

چکیده
Abstract The goal of this paper is to develop and test a gamified design thinking framework, including its pedagogical elements, for supporting various learning objectives school students. By synthesizing the elements principles design, games, authors propose framework tool students fulfil number objectives; includes process called “IISC Design Thinking” version DBox”. effectiveness as has been evaluated by conducting workshops that involved 77 results suggest gamification used had positive effect on outcomes, fulfilment objectives, learners' achievements, indicating potential offering an effective, promoting in education. In addition presenting from empirical studies also proposes approach can be identifying appropriate selecting game these integrating with elements. general assessing attaining given set objectives. methodology thus reference developing evaluating course suitable not only education but other domains (e.g., engineering, management) minimal changes.
